Archeology

The territory currently occupied by the Subbética Cordobesa region has been a crossroads for different cultures and civilizations throughout the centuries. The lands of the Subbética, thanks to their archaeological sites and museums, provide insight into the diverse experiences accumulated by humans in their early years of existence. In this way, we will have the opportunity to discover the part of Spanish Prehistory, Protohistory, as well as that of Ancient Times. The abundance of archaeological sites in this region undoubtedly stems from its natural richness, which facilitated the establishment of settlements and colonies.
